Elizabeth R. Chellevold, 85 of Darlington, died on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at Lafayette Manor in Darlington with her loving husband and daughters by her side. She was born on Sept. 30, 1926, to John and Ida (Youssi) McKenna. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 104 E. Harriet St., Darlington, with Fr. Randy Budnar officiating. Burial followed at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation was held prior the funeral from 9-11:15 a.m. on Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Full obituary in the December 29, 2011 issue of the Republican Journal.
