Elizabeth Green Zillmer, age 98, a long-time resident of Middleton, passed away at Oakwood Village University Woods in Madison, on February 27, 2025. Her husband, Spencer Zillmer, died on April 29, 2020, at age 96, after a short illness.

Services for Spencer could not be held after he died in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, so services for both Elizabeth and Spencer will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1701 McKenna Blvd., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, with Pastor Philip Moldenhauer and Pastor Caleb Bassett officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Private burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah.
