Ellen M. Popp, 72, of Platteville, died on Sunday, March 5 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.

Funeral services were on Tuesday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. Father David Flanagan officiated. Visitation was on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until time of the services. Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.

CASSVILLE - John Okey, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and lifelong carpenter, passed away on May 3, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him. He was 61 years young.  A celebration of John's life will be held this Friday, May 9th, 2025, at J&J Sandbar from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor John's memory by taking a moment to enjoy the outdoors, share a meal with someone you love, or simply sit in the fresh air and reflect. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville is assisting the family.
