Surrounded by the love of her family, Elva died Friday evening, March 6, 2015, at the Care Center of the Northfield Retirement Community. May Jones, 97, Northfield, Minn., and formerly Boscobel.
She was born June 9, 1917, on the family farm in Marrietta Township, Crawford County, to George and Veda (Chitwood) Miller. She was raised on the family farm and attended country school near Boscobel.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the Benson & Langehough Funeral Home in Northfield, Minn. Interment will be in Boscobel Cemetery on March 21, 2015 at 1 p.m.
Pallbearers were Abraham and Dakotah Klamm, Chad and Seth Norberg, Zachary Meyer, Travis Anderson, Logan Steele, Torey and Troy Flategraff and John and Jamin Arvig. All great-grandchildren are considered honorary pallbearers.
The Benson & Langehough Funeral Home of Northfield Minnesota and the Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel assisted the family.
