Elvera C. (Deppe) Scheppers, 78, of Platteville, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, after battling cancer, at home surrounded by all of her children.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (519 W Roosevelt) in Cuba City. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Platteville. Family and friends may call on Friday, Aug. 17 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory (100 Park Place) in Platteville, where a 4 p.m. scripture service will be held. Friends may also call on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, the family suggests that memorials in Elvera’s honor may be directed to Hospice of Dubuque (1670 John F Kennedy Rd). The Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory of Platteville is entrusted with her services.
