Francis Raymond Hynek, 91, of La Farge (and formerly of Hillsboro), a gifted storyteller and one of life’s true characters, played his final hand on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.  Friends and relatives are invited for a time visitation at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in 203 N. State Street, LaFarge, on Sunday, July 13, from 1 to 4 pm. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Monday, July 14, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Dilly, with Reverend Monsignor Steven J. Kachel officiating. There will be a time of visitation from 10 am until the time of the service. Francis will be laid to rest at the Bohemian Brotherhood, Wopat Cemetery (across the road from St. John’s) in White City, immediately following the service.
