Gerald Jerome Storms, 86, Deerfield, died peacefully, surrounded by his family on March 25, 2014, at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc., Fitchburg.

HewasborninRichwood Township on July 22, 1927, the son of Allen and Lillian (Augustson) Storms. He was employed for a number of years at Oscar Mayer. He was involved in several construction partnerships and businesses for over 50 years, most notably Jerry Storms Construction.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Deerfield Lutheran Church, 206 S. Main St., Deerfield.

A visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 4 to 7 p.m., and again on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Memorials may be made to Deerfield Lutheran Church or Agrace HospiceCare, Inc.
