Harvey G. Sperry, 74 of Darlington, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Monroe Clinic Hospital in Monroe. He was born April 22, 1938, in Darlington the son of Glen and Marie (Malott) Sperry. A celebration of life was held Saturday, July 14, 2012, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 15691 Co. K in Darlington with Rev. Kevin G. Hanson, Rev. Nate Whiteside and Dr. Stu Dix officiates. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington. A visitation was held Friday, July 13, from 3-8 p.m. at the church. Full obituary in the July 19, 2012 issue of the Republican Journal.
