Everybody’s friend and King of the One Liners, Ira “Butch” Griswold Jr., 85, Lancaster, died Monday, July 21, 2025, at home after a battle with leukemia.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem E&R Church, Lancaster, with Rev. Mark Dieter officiating. The burial with military honors will be in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may call on Monday, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
