Jerry Amenda, 62, died on March 1, 2025, at UW–Hospital in Madison, following a short illness due to a stroke.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, from 2 – 6 p.m. at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, where a memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m.  Rev. Gus Barnes will officiate.  A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, March 15, from 1 – 5 p.m. at the Belmont Convention Center, Belmont.  Private burial will be at the Belmont Cemetery at a later date.  Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.
