LANCASTER - John W. Budworth, age 97 passed away on Friday May 16, 2025, at Park Place Memory Care in Platteville. He was born and raised on the family farm in Beetown Township on October 13, 1927, to the son of George and Elizabeth (Watson) Budworth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday May 20, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Bloomington with Father Steve Brunner officiating. Burial with Military Rites will be held in St. Clement Catholic Church Cemetery in Lancaster. Visitation will be held. from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass on Tuesday, at the church.
