John Wade Garner, 92, Richland Center, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, from complications following a fall.
He was born on the Garner Homestead near Excelsior, Town of Richwood, Richland County, on July 6, 1922, to Martin Riley Garner and Margaret (Wade) Garner.
A memorial service is planned on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 400 E. Seminary St., Richland Center, WI 53581. The Reverend Bill Busch will officiate.
Visitation is from Noon to 1 p.m. with the service scheduled from 1-2 p.m. Luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall. All are invited to attend and celebrate a life well lived.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, rural Blue River, Richwood Township.
