John P. Hill, 87, Platteville, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Platteville. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025, and on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Father Tom Kelley and Deacon Bill Bussan will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
