John Wanek Salzgeber, Boscobel, 86, passed away on June 1, 2015, at the Boscobel Care and Rehab after a brief illness from a brain tumor.

    The funeral service was held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boscobel with Pastor Charles  Koester officiating. Burial was in the Boscobel Cemetery. A visitation was held on Thursday, June 4 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Memorials can be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Boscobel Fire Department, or the Boscobel Rescue Squad. Military honors were accorded by the Blake-Semrad  American Legion and the Gilbertson-Pitzer VFW, both of Boscobel. Online condolence can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com.
