John Whiteaker, known to his family and friends as “Jack” lost his brave battle with cancer and passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the age of 72 years. A Celebration of Jack’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Gays Mills. Wayne Goplin will officiate with burial to follow in the Union Hill Cemetery in Mt. Zion. Friends may call from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Memorials may be given to the family or to the National Hemophiliac Foundation.
