Joseph “Joe” V. Crubel, 57, Bloomington, passed away suddenly of a pulmonary embolism on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomington with Father John Meinholz officiating. Burial was in Blake’s Prairie Cemetery, Bloomington. A visitation was held on Friday, Dec. 12 from 4 until 8 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church where a 3:45 p.m. scripture service was held. Due to Joe’s generous and caring nature, a scholarship fund will be established in his name. Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Bloomington assisted the family.
