Lana L. Olson, 77, of Soldiers Grove, passed away on October 27, 2025, at Soldiers Grove Health Services.

She was born on October 28, 1947, to Jasper and Louise (Salmon) Davenport.  She married Donald (Digger) Olson on October 30, 1965, at the Community of Christ Church.  They lived in the Soldiers Grove area and in May of 1976 they moved to the family farm where Lana was born and raised.  Together they built a life based on love and laughter.  Their partnership during health challenges showed all who knew them the true meaning of "in sickness and in health.”

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the family, friends and healthcare workers who walked alongside Lana during her journey.  She always appreciated the kindness, compassion and support she was given.

A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Community of Christ Church on County Road X, rural Soldiers Grove. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. A luncheon will follow the service with Lana being laid to rest at a private family graveside service at a later date.
