Lela M. Jacobson, age 97, of Mineral Point passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 at the Mineral Point Care Center. She was born on the family farm in Waldwick on May 13, 1916, the daughter of A. Lea and Mabelle (Everson) Gordon.
Funeral Services were held on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Mineral Point. Pastor Becky Henke officiated. A burial of her ashes will be in the Waldwick Cemetery at a later date. A visitation was held on Sunday from noon until 2:00 p.m. at the church.
