Leo S. Havlik, 86, Bagley/ Darlington, died on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison.

He was born in Milwaukee, on June 28, 1928, to Sam and Mary (Volnec) Havlik. He graduated from Montfort High School and went on to receive his degrees from the Teacher’s College in Platteville; UW- Madison and UW-Superior. Leo married Loreta Ferries on March 24, 1951 in Belton, Tex., while Leo was completing Basic Training in the US Army.

A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015 at Bridges Restaurant, Hwy 81, Darlington, with a brief service and military honors.

The Steil Camacho Funeral Home, Darlington, assisted the family.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

David G. Dregne, 68, of Readstown, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 12, 1957, to Irvin and Leona (Fortney) Dregne, Dave was a lifelong member of the Readstown community. He graduated from Kickapoo High School in 1975 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse in 1979.

Pursuant to Dave’s wishes, no formal funeral service is planned.  Online condolences can be made at rothfamilycremation.
