Mabel M. Bass, 93, of Platteville, died on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Platteville. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Platteville. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church, where a rosary will be prayed at 10:40 a.m. Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.
