Marjorie M. Bucher, age 92, of Darlington, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County in Darlington. She was born Feb. 11, 1920 on the family farm in Willow Springs Township, the daughter of Morris and Ida “Tora” (Hartwig) Chambers. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at noon at Darlington United Methodist Church, 546 Park Place in Darlington with Rev. Larry Hakes officiating. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington. A visitation was held Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
