On Saturday, September 9, 2023, the Lord decided it was time to bring “One Tough Old Bird” into his Heavenly flock. He called Mary C. Neis home. The Lord saw she was tired and that it was time for eternal rest. Mary C. Neis was born December 31,1940, the daughter of Leonard and Jeanette (Hoffman) Schier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomington, WI with Father Sudhakar Devarapu officiating. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Private family burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bloomington. Family and friends are cordially invited to a luncheon in memory of Mary in the church hall following the private family burial.
