Mary Elizabeth (Huth) Smith passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Gunderson St. Joseph Hospital in Hillsboro. 

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with burial following in the Richland Center Cemetery. Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. The family suggests memorials in Mary’s name be directed to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
