Monica Jean (Fitzsimons) Dorman, age 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 22, at her home at Harmony Assisted Living in Stoughton. Her five children were with her surrounding her with love and music - singing her off with gospel music and hymns in harmony. She was born on May 13, 1928 in Kendall Township, the sixth child of Frank and Frances Fitzsimons.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 25 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 104 E. Harriet Street, Darlington, with Monsignor Gerard Healy presiding. Burial followed at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. Friends called from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24 at Steil Camacho Funeral Home, 206 E. Harriet St. Darlington, where a parish rosary was prayed at 7:30 p.m.
