Norene A. (Conn) Ashbacher, 78, of Tomah, WI, formerly of Ferryville, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025.  She was born in Wheatland Township on October 26, 1947, the daughter of Stephen D. and Fola M (Fritz) Conn.  Norene worked as a librarian and seamstress.  She was a caring and wonderful mother and grandmother who greatly enjoyed spending time with her family.  

In keeping with her wishes, there will not be any formal public funeral services at this time.  Popp Funeral and Cremation Services in Viroqua is providing care and assistance to her family.
