Oaklynn M. Peterson, age 11, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at home surrounded by her family following an extended illness. A Memorial Visitation will be on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien, where there will be a vigil service held at 3:30 P.M. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Oaklynn's name to be donated to some of her favorite charities. According to Oaklynn’s wishes, her family invites those attending to wear their favorite dress and/or hat.
