Peggy Ann (Welch) Hrubes, 71, of Stitzer, was called home to be with the Lord surrounded by family at home after a long courageous battle with cancer on Dec. 7, 2025.

It is her wish to be cremated, and her ashes spread at a later date. Private family services will be held at Larson Family Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Steve Kottke. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the family or Larson Family Funeral Home and will be donated to the Grant County Cancer Coalition as their mission meant so much to her. They can also be sent and addressed to Tony Hrubes, 2284 Townline Rd., Stitzer, WI 53825, or Venmo to Alyssa Germaine @ Alyssa-Hrubes GCCC PH (Grant County Cancer Coalition Peggy Hrubes).
