Richard A. Ewing, had a 36-year relationship with his mule, Fred; and a 30-year relationship with his wife, Val. He died on September 11, 2025 at his home. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. A burial will be held at the Mill Creek Cemetery at a later date. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
