Richard J. “Boomer”/ “Rick” Bloom, 66, of Blue River, formerly of Platteville, Wisconsin, died on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, from cancer.

A memorial service celebrating Rick’s life was held at 6 p.m., Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Pastor Mary Ann Floerke officiated.
