It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Francis “Dick” Klinger who departed this life peacefully surrounded by family on Aug. 15, 2025 at the age of 86.

Funeral services celebrating Dick's life will be held on Thursday, Aug. 21, at 11 a.m. at Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, where a firefighter memorial will be at the conclusion of the service.  We invite all who knew and loved Dick to join us in honoring his memory. Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, Aug. 20, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, or from 10a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.  Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, Platteville.
