Robert E. “Bob” Sperry, age 85, of Inverness, Fla., passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Bob was born in Darlington to the late Glen and Marie (Malott) Sperry. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force and was a Veteran of the Korean War. After his military service, Bob worked in Construction in the Madison area. He eventually became a Residential Construction Salesman. On May 21, 1983, he married Betty (Wheeler) with whom he shared 35 years of loving marriage. In 1990, Bob and Betty moved to Inverness after relocating from Madison and are members of the First Presbyterian Church of Inverness.
He is survived by his wife Betty, his daughters: Lauretta (Dennis) Kluge, Deborah (Don) Wills, Cathy (Tim) Severson; son, Michael Sperry; stepdaughters: Debra (Kent) Ritchie and Michelle (Steve) Hale; stepson, Carl Hanson; brother, Roger (Ellen) Sperry; sisters-in-law: Gloria Sperry and Beverly Sperry; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his son, Steven; brothers: Gaylord and Harvey; and sister, Darlene Jean.
A memorial service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park (401 Femrite Dr., Monona, Wis., 53716) at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Bob’s memory to any Veteran’s organization of your choice.

Robert "Bob" E. McGinley, 90, passed away peacefully in the early morning of May 16, 2025.

 Born in Boscobel, Wisconsin on August 30, 1934, Bob was the son of the late Joseph and Florence (Fleming) McGinley. He graduated from Gays Mills High School in 1952 and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Security Agency during the Korean Conflict.  He moved to Kenosha in the 1950s. He spent his career working for both Kenosha County and the Kenosha County Abstract Company. Bob retired from the Kenosha County Assessor's Office in 1995.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Friedl, Dr. Knight, and the compassionate staff at the Cancer Center in Kenosha. A very special thank you goes to Hospice Alliance and to the loving staff at Library Terrace Assisted Living whose tender care and kindness provided comfort to Bob and his family.

A visitation for Bob will be held on Friday May 23, 2025 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 2224 30th Ave.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to St. Peter Catholic Church, 2224 30th Ave, Kenosha. WI 53144 would be appreciated.
