Robert C. “Bob” Voigts, 81 years old, of Platteville, went home to have supper with Beverly on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018. Funeral services were 11:00 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2018 at Peace Lutheran Church, Belmont. Rev. Connie Matye officiated. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery, Platteville. Friends could call from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, or from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the church. Bob was born on Dec. 2, 1936 in Platteville, son of Clifford and Mildred (Bellmeyer) Voigts. He graduated from Platteville High School in 1956. Bob was united in marriage to Beverly Jean Schroeder on Nov. 14, 1964 at Peace Lutheran Church, Belmont. She preceded him in death on Oct. 2, 2001. Bob was a lifelong farmer and steward of the land. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Belmont, where he served on the church council. He belonged to the Odd Fellow’s, the Grant County Holstein Assoc. and American Quarter Horse Association. He enjoyed his Belgian Horses, showing cattle and his dogs. He loved following his grandchildren in all of their activities.
Bob is survived by seven children: Christine Voigts, Charlene (Scott) Nichols, Jolene (Mike) Martin, Denice (Dennis) Patterson, Dennis (Rose) Voigts, Julie (Corey) Tolle and David (fiancée, Amie Stark) Voigts; 17 grandchildren; significant other, Char Harms; sisters, Mary (Richard Nachreiner) Billings and Beverly Colbert; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly and parents, Clifford and Mildred Voigts.

CASSVILLE - John Okey, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and lifelong carpenter, passed away on May 3, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him. He was 61 years young.  A celebration of John's life will be held this Friday, May 9th, 2025, at J&J Sandbar from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor John's memory by taking a moment to enjoy the outdoors, share a meal with someone you love, or simply sit in the fresh air and reflect. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville is assisting the family.

Leila Helen Moseley, 95, of Cassville formerly of Tomah, died on April 19, 2025, at Eden Vista, Madison. She was born on October 27, 1929, to Alloth and Helen (Mahoney) Westpfahl in Tomah, Wisconsin. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Queen of the Apostle's Catholic Church at St. Mary's, 303 W. Monroe St. Tomah. Father Ethan J. Hokamp will officiate. Burial will in the church cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. The Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster with Pastor Mark Hoehne officiating. Private family burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may attend visitation on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
