Robert J. “Bob” Mask, 72, artist, photographer, SBCC teacher and noted wellspring of humor passed away on April 28 in Goleta, Calif., after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.

In lieu of flowers, Bob’s family suggests donations in Bob’s name to the Parkinson’s Association. The family will host a celebration of Bob’s life later this year. We are grateful that you are finally at peace.

Robert "Bob" E. McGinley, 90, passed away peacefully in the early morning of May 16, 2025.

 Born in Boscobel, Wisconsin on August 30, 1934, Bob was the son of the late Joseph and Florence (Fleming) McGinley. He graduated from Gays Mills High School in 1952 and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Security Agency during the Korean Conflict.  He moved to Kenosha in the 1950s. He spent his career working for both Kenosha County and the Kenosha County Abstract Company. Bob retired from the Kenosha County Assessor's Office in 1995.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Friedl, Dr. Knight, and the compassionate staff at the Cancer Center in Kenosha. A very special thank you goes to Hospice Alliance and to the loving staff at Library Terrace Assisted Living whose tender care and kindness provided comfort to Bob and his family.

A visitation for Bob will be held on Friday May 23, 2025 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 2224 30th Ave.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to St. Peter Catholic Church, 2224 30th Ave, Kenosha. WI 53144 would be appreciated.
