Roger A. Ewers, Jr., 65, of Platteville, died on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, Feb. 25 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. Chapel military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #42 and VFW Post #5274. Burial will follow at the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call from 10–11:45 a.m. at the funeral home. The family is requesting everyone to wear a mask and to practice social distancing during your time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Roger A. Ann S. Eckert, 85, of Port Charlotte, Florida, died on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Advent Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida.

There will be a graveside service on Aug. 2, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. for family and friends at Hill Crest Cemetery, Montfort, Wisconsin, followed by lunch and visitation at the Cottonwood Supper Club, 4716 Green River Road, Fennimore, Wisconsin.
