Scott J. Weisbenner, age 49, of Champaign, IL, formerly of Lancaster, WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 2022, after a very courageous battle with cancer over a three-year period.  He was surrounded by his family and friends. Private family funeral services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Martin Schwartz Funeral Homes & Crematory in Lancaster with Pastor Mark Hoehne officiating. Private family burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster, WI.

CASSVILLE - John Okey, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and lifelong carpenter, passed away on May 3, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him. He was 61 years young.  A celebration of John's life will be held this Friday, May 9th, 2025, at J&J Sandbar from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor John's memory by taking a moment to enjoy the outdoors, share a meal with someone you love, or simply sit in the fresh air and reflect. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville is assisting the family.
