POTOSI – Stephen J. “Steve” Pluemer, age 79, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born on May 13, 1946, and raised in Potosi, Steve lived a life defined by hard work, faith, perseverance, and deep commitment to those he loved. A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Holiday Gardens in Potosi. Burial with military honors at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery will be held at a later date. A private family memorial service will be held.  In lieu of plants and flowers, a Stephen J. Pluemer Memorial Fund has been established where donations will be made locally.  Kramer-Grau Funeral Homes & Crematory in Potosi is entrusted with his care.
