Thelma M. Toay, 96 of Warren, Ill., passed away Dec. 4, 2011, at the Lafayette Manor. She was born Feb. 22, 1915, in Jones County, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Edna (McClung) Stoughton. Thelma married John S. Toay on May 2, 1936, in Galena, Ill. Visitation was held from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011. Funeral Service followed the visitation, beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Pastor Margo Peterson officiated. Interment was at Elmwood Cemetery in Warren, Ill.  Full obituary in the December 8, 2011 issue of the Republican Journal.

Beverly A. Knight, 84, passed away peacefully at home on May 11, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Pratt Funeral Home, Muscoda, 710 N Wisconsin Ave, Muscoda. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Pratt Funeral Home, Muscoda, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Burial will be held in the Avoca Cemetery. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements. prattfuneralservice.com
