Potosi - Wilbert E. “Bill” Post, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. He was born on March 27, 1931, in Leland, WI, the son of Edward and Ida (Raddatz) Post. He was preceded in death by his wife Irene, son Dennis, granddaughter Jeannie Post, and grandson David Post. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Potosi with Pastor Mark Hoehne officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 473 and VFW Post 5276 in British Hollow Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials will be given to the Potosi Fire Department and Potosi EMS. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory of Potosi is assisting the family.
