William “Bill” Melville, Platteville, formerly of Sylvia, Kan., died on Aug. 18 at Southwest Health in Platteville.

According to his wishes, there will be no public service or visitation. Private burial with military honors, with immediate family, will be at a later date. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be left at www.melbyfh.com.

Beverly A. Knight, 84, passed away peacefully at home on May 11, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Pratt Funeral Home, Muscoda, 710 N Wisconsin Ave, Muscoda. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Pratt Funeral Home, Muscoda, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Burial will be held in the Avoca Cemetery. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements. prattfuneralservice.com
