    William Russel “Bill” James, 81, Grants Pass, Ore., died at his home on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013. Visitation was held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, 2013 at Chapel of the Valley - L.B. Hall Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life began at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorial donations can be made to Lovejoy Hospice, 939 SE 8th Street, Grants Pass, OR 97526.

CASSVILLE - John Okey, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and lifelong carpenter, passed away on May 3, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him. He was 61 years young.  A celebration of John's life will be held this Friday, May 9th, 2025, at J&J Sandbar from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor John's memory by taking a moment to enjoy the outdoors, share a meal with someone you love, or simply sit in the fresh air and reflect. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville is assisting the family.
