William Dennis “Bill” Sprosty of Seneca passed away at home on Friday, March 6, 2026. Bill was born on September 10, 1953, the 6th child of Charles “Chuck” and Julia (Klema) Sprosty.

He grew up on the family farm near Seneca, where he was active in 4-H and FFA. As a child, he spent most of his time outdoors helping on the farm, mostly shirtless. He attended school in Seneca and later farmed with his father until his father’s unexpected death in 1973.

A Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be held Monday, March 23, 2026, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Fr. Thomas Huff officiating, with burial in the St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery both in Seneca., WI.  Friends may call at St. Patrick’s Church from 9:00 until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Seneca Education Foundation, the Gays Mills Food Pantry, or the Prairie du Chien Food Pantry. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family. www.garrityfuneralhome.com
