UW-Platteville celebrates 200th commencement

PLATTEVILLE—The University of Wisconsin-Platteville celebrated its 200th commencement ceremonies May 11-12 in Williams Fieldhouse. Graduating students received a special 200th tassel to represent the milestone ceremony.
UW-Platteville, founded in 1866, recently was named the best in Wisconsin for annual return on investment for the fourth consecutive year by Payscale and the best in the state (and seventh nationally) for employment by Zippia, the Career Expert.
Students from this area who earned their degrees include: Alexander Breuer of Glen Haven, Criminal Justice; Ryan Kirschbaum of Glen Haven, Business Administration; Brittany Bahl of Lancaster, Animal Science; Chloe Bainbridge of Lancaster, Biology; Bridget Curtis of Potosi, Elementary Education; Mitchell Kuster of Potosi, Business Administration; Codi Schwab of Potosi, Business Administration; Justin Tranel of Potosi, Soil and Crop Science; and Alexandra Waller of Potosi, Fine Arts.
