Geraldine “Gerry” and Robert Williams of Modesto, Calif., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 8, 2013. Family and friends gathered in June to observe the occasion.
The former Geraldine Foster and Robert Williams were married June 8, 1963 at the Methodist Church in Maquoketa, Iowa. Robert is the son of the late Clark and Vera Williams of Lancaster.
Robert retired after 43 years as an educator and Gerry retired from teaching elementary school music and directing church music.
They are the parents of two children: Jeff (and Lucy) Williams of Chiang Mai, Thailand and Phil Williams of Modesto, Calif. They have three grandchildren.
