Tavian Kelz and Virginia Curran, Platteville, announce the birth of their daughter, Athena Sapphire Kelz, at 5:31 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26 at Southwest Health in Platteville.
Athena weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. She joins a brother, Kaiden Tippett, 4.
Grandparents are Joely and Bakary, Platteville, and Nicole Hamilton, Lancaster.

Great-grandmother is Mary Gates, Hazel Green.
