Omar Meqdadi and Hala Obiedat, Platteville, announce the birth of their son, Bassel Meqdadi, at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26 at Southwest Health in Platteville.
Bassel weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. He joins a brother, Yemen, 2.
