Emily and Hendrik Britz of Darlington are the parents of a son, Hendrik Willem Britz, born Aug. 19, 2012, at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County. He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 21 inches long. He joins sisters Mary Jane, 5, and Maria, 2.
Grandparents are Marietjie Britz of South Africa and Greg and Mary Roelli of Darlington. Great-grandmother is Janie Vermulen of South Africa.

A daughter, Emery Jean Kenefick, was born at 1:38 a.m. on May 26, 2024, at The Richland Hospital to Austin and Whitney Kenefick. She weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 21.5 inches long. She joins a sister, Harper, 3 years old. Grandparents are Mary and Todd Kenefick of Richland Center, Jeanna and Jerry Jones of Soldiers Grove, Cliff Copus and Mayann Merriman of Mount Zion. Great-grandparent is Dona Kenefick of Sun Prairie. The father is a grinder at Scot Industries and the mother is health unit clerk at Richland Hospital.
