Friday, May 8—Cory Laufenberg and Katie Schwantes of Lancaster, a daughter, Gerika Lee Laufenberg, 9 pounds, 20.75 inches long, born at 8:43 a.m. at Southwest Health Center, Platteville. She joins a sister, Jaicee Lynn Laufenberg, 4. Grandparents are Donna and the late Gerald Laufenberg and Rick and Karen Schwantes, all of Lancaster. Great-grandparents are Jeanette Roesch and Leona Schwantes, both of Lancaster.

A daughter, Emery Jean Kenefick, was born at 1:38 a.m. on May 26, 2024, at The Richland Hospital to Austin and Whitney Kenefick. She weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 21.5 inches long. She joins a sister, Harper, 3 years old. Grandparents are Mary and Todd Kenefick of Richland Center, Jeanna and Jerry Jones of Soldiers Grove, Cliff Copus and Mayann Merriman of Mount Zion. Great-grandparent is Dona Kenefick of Sun Prairie. The father is a grinder at Scot Industries and the mother is health unit clerk at Richland Hospital.
