Tom Pickel and Stacy Kaiser, Kieler, announce the birth of their son, Kobe Ivan Pickel, at 12:58 p.m. on Thursday, July 10 at Southwest Health in Platteville.
Kobe weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces and was 21 inches long.
Grandparents are Barb and Junior Pickel, Kieler, Kathy and Joe Davis, New Diggings, and Steve and Sherry Kaiser, Hazel Green.
Great-grandparents are Lois and Jerome Kaiser, Cuba City, Gerry Swart, Platteville, Laura Davis, Galena, and Joyce Rice, Milton.
Kobe’s father is a salesman at Packer’s Chemical in Kieler and his mother is a nursing student at Clarke University in Dubuque.

A daughter, Emery Jean Kenefick, was born at 1:38 a.m. on May 26, 2024, at The Richland Hospital to Austin and Whitney Kenefick. She weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 21.5 inches long. She joins a sister, Harper, 3 years old. Grandparents are Mary and Todd Kenefick of Richland Center, Jeanna and Jerry Jones of Soldiers Grove, Cliff Copus and Mayann Merriman of Mount Zion. Great-grandparent is Dona Kenefick of Sun Prairie. The father is a grinder at Scot Industries and the mother is health unit clerk at Richland Hospital.
