Jesse and Alissa Wedig of Belmont announce the birth of their son, Weston Allen Wedig, on Monday, Sept. 26 at 9 a.m. at Grant Regional Health Center, Lancaster
Weston weighed eight pounds and 11 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
Grandparents are Greg and LuAnn Johnson of Platteville, Toni Lewis of Cross Plains, and Pat and Mary Wedig of Belmont. 
Great-grandparents are Marian Eustice of Platteville, Suzy Wedig of Belmont, and Cecelia Harm of Chippewa Falls.
Weston’s father is a welder for Baker Iron Works in Platteville, and his mother is an RN at High Point Family Medicine in Lancaster. The couple also farms.

A daughter, Emery Jean Kenefick, was born at 1:38 a.m. on May 26, 2024, at The Richland Hospital to Austin and Whitney Kenefick. She weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 21.5 inches long. She joins a sister, Harper, 3 years old. Grandparents are Mary and Todd Kenefick of Richland Center, Jeanna and Jerry Jones of Soldiers Grove, Cliff Copus and Mayann Merriman of Mount Zion. Great-grandparent is Dona Kenefick of Sun Prairie. The father is a grinder at Scot Industries and the mother is health unit clerk at Richland Hospital.
