Historic Incarnation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, Minn., was the site of the June 16, 2017, wedding of Angela Mae Drefcinski to William Mark Bornhoft. Angela was given in marriage by her parents, Shane and Diane Drefcinski, Platteville. William’s parents are Tad and Kimberly Bornhoft, Minneapolis. The Reverend Father Kevin McDonough officiated the wedding Mass along with Fr. Mike Kiebler and Deacon Jerry Rynda. A reception followed at Turtle’s 1890 Social Center in Shakopee, Minn. The couple also celebrated the marriage with a reception on July 8 in Platteville at Angela’s home parish of St. Mary.
Angela’s dress was white satin with tulle over the floor length skirt. Lace covered the bodice and her shoulders. Angela adorned her long, curled hair with her mother’s dairy princess crown. She carried a bouquet of white peonies and miniature pink roses.
Matron of honor was Angela’s friend, Rachel Bower. Bridesmaids were sisters-in-law, Mindy Bornhoft and Kaitlin Bornhoft, and sisters, Margaret Drefcinski and Clare Drefcinski.
Co-best men were brothers, Andrew Bornhoft and Geoffrey Bornhoft. Groomsmen were David Bower, Karl Brummer and Aaron Rieger. Ring bearer was Thomas Bower.
Angela is a 2013 graduate of Platteville High School and a 2017 graduate of the University of Minnesota. William is 2010 graduate of Trinity Christian High School in Eagan, Minn., and 2014 graduate of the University of Minnesota.
William is a writer for Minnesota Patch, an independent local news website. Angela works for Children’s Hospitals of St. Paul and Minneapolis doing research in the ER department. The couple resides in St. Paul, Minnesota.
